I approached Whitings to help with a confusing HMRC situation, not sure that they would deal with an individual client with relatively minor issue - but found them extremely welcoming, and willing to assist, reassuring me that my concerns were unfounded, and offering some very useful advice and tips to apply going forward. Very welcoming, and answered all of my queries fully - I would highly recommend their services.

We met With Rob Dedman to hear what Whitings could offer us as a firm of accountants during the probate process compared to solicitors. We found Rob to be very informative, personable and patient. Chartered accountants in Bury St Edmunds since being a founding office for Walter Whiting and his 2 partners in 1928.

Bury St. Edmunds is a typically beautiful and historic Suffolk market town, with excellent road connections to both the west and east. Famous for Bury St Edmunds Abbey, its Arts & Culture, its Sugar Beet factory and Greene King brewery, the town is now also a vibrant SME business growth area for other food industries, technology companies and retail (including the famous Wednesday and Saturday markets).

Our open plan modern two storey accountants office is located within the new developments in the east of Bury St Edmunds, just off the A14. With a headcount of around 40, this is our largest office for professional work and it is also our administrative head office. Within the office, as well as housing general practice professionals, we also have specialist departments for small business, corporate services (including audit and corporate finance), private client tax, probate and payroll. Behind the office is a large private car park, which visiting clients are welcome to use to attend a meeting or to drop off or collect their records.
